Sense of Hearing
Sense of Hearing – Music
This is the final week when we learn more about the last sense organ – ears and the sense of hearing.
My dear children!
Sit in a relaxed position. Watch your breath. Close your eyes. You are entering into a temple of Lord Sai. Just as you enter, the sound of melodious bhajans fills your ears.
The temple hall is filled with people, who are sitting with their eyes closed, clapping their hands, and singing the bhajans. The songs are so soothing, rhythmic, and devotional. You are lost in the darshan of the Lord and the bhajans.
Lamps are lit in the altar, fragrance from the agarbathis fills the air, the flower garlands decorating the altar and the hall sway gently, and you join the bhajans.
The song enters through the ears, touches your heart, melts your mind and comforts your thoughts. Our lord assures you “Why fear when I am here”. Yes! His Lotus feet are always near and dear to us. Hold his feet tight like a child that clings to its loving mother. Sai mothers’s love is the love of thousand mothers.
Slowly holding mother Sai’s hands come out of the divine state and open your eyes.
Questions:
- What did you see in the temple?
- Which bhajan did you sing?
