WHO IS GOD?

Once you have discovered who you are, then there is no need to know who is God, for both are the same.

You can become Divine. I have nothing that you too do not possess. It is latent in you. That is the only difference.

Heaven is not a super terrestrial season of perpetual spring, it is an inner experience.

Bend the body, mend the senses and end the mind – is the way to immortality.

Shri Sathya Sai Baba

All are children of the same parents. So, without blaming and accusing each other, without wishing evil for one’s kith and kin, understand that your other brothers have the same attachment to the objects they love that you have towards the things that you love. One should not find faults with what another loves; nor should one laugh at it. He should on the other hand, try to love it. These are the characteristics or the Truth, of Bhaarateeyas.

SELFISHNESS

Courage : Humility and Forbearance are qualities most essential for the human beings. Unfortunately, there is an endless amount of selfishness in the society today and selfishness constitutes the primary motive for all the work we do in the society. It is only on the day when we can remove the demon of selfishness from our hearts will the society and we in the society enjoy some happiness. In order that we may remove this selfishness and make it distant from us, the four obstacles of :

  1. Carelessness
  2. Lack of Faith
  3. Egoism and
  4. Jealousy, have to be removed from our hearts.

Every good tree bring forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bring forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bring not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits, we shall know them.

ADORE WOMEN

Women should always be adored and treated with love. There, where women are treated with honour, the very gods are said to be propitiated.

There where women are not adored, all acts become fruitless. If the women of a family, on account of the treatment they receive, indulge in grief and tears, that family soon becomes extinct.

Women are deities of prosperity. The person that desires affluence and prosperity should honour them. By cherishing women one cherishes the goddess of prosperity, and by afflicting her, one is said to pain the goddess of prosperity.

SEETAA

As, the Madonna, to the women of Christendom, so is Seetaa. Queen of Ayodhya, to those of Hinduism. For she is the ideal of womanhood itself, and she wields undisputed sway, in millions of hearts, over the kingdoms of love and sorrow and stainless womanly honour and pride. Though beautiful and a queen, she never chose ease. To her the simple lives of saints and scholars were more joyous than all the luxuries of courts. She knew every mood of the forests, joining in their praise in the early morning, when birds wake and blossoms open and the dew is fresh; and bowing her soul with theirs in the evening adoration. She shared a throne, yet never forgot that for their people’s good, and not for their own pleasure, do sovereigns reign. She knew the bitterest and deepest sorrow, and lived serene amidst her sorrow. Such was Seetaa. Queen of Ayodhya, crowned of love, veiled in sorrow and peerless amongst women.

MOTHER DIVINE

The things which cause the mind to be impure are desire, anger and fear. These produce evil thoughts in the mind. The mind gets fouled by them.

It is common knowledge that when a person is in the presence of his mother, no evil thoughts arise in his mind.

What is true of our physical mother is much more true in the case of the Divine Mother.

Bodies are cleansed by bathing in water. Minds are cleansed by bathing in the Dhyana Teertha, the holy water of meditation on the Divine Mother.
