श्लोक

• पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति।
• तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः॥

भावार्थ

भगवान श्री कृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं कि जो भी भक्त मुझे पत्र, पुष्प, फल या जल, भक्ति व प्रेम के साथ अर्पण करता है, उसे मैं स्वीकार करता हूँ | क्योंकि वह भक्तिभाव से, शुद्ध हृदय वाले द्वारा अर्पित किया हुआ है |

पत्रं	पत्तियाँ
पुषपं	फूल
फलं	फल
तोयं	जल
यो	जो
मे	मेरे लिये
भक्त्या	भक्ति भाव से, श्रद्धा से
प्रयच्छति	अर्पण करता है
तत्	वह (पत्ती, फूल, फल, जल)
अहं	मैं स्वयं
भक्त्युपहृतम्	भक्ति से अर्पण किया हुआ
अश्नामि	स्वीकार करता हूँ
प्रयतात्मनः	शुद्ध हृदय द्वारा अर्पित किया हुआ|
