Radiant Thinking

Objective:

An interesting activity to improve the thinking ability of the children.

Value Inculcated:

To relate things that go together, increase the thinking ability

Materials required:

Blackboard, chalk, Notebooks for the children, and pencil

Preparatory work for the guru:

The guru gives a topic RADHA – KRISHNA to the students by writing it in the center of the board and speaking it aloud.

Procedure:

1. The guru should ask the children to write words related to the topic given. (For eg. Blue, Peacock, Flute etc.,)
2. Children can write it on the board or in their notebooks.
3. There is no limit to what and how words come up.

Rules:

1. Related words come from the students not from the guru.
2. If the guru doesn’t find connection between the topic and a word given by a child, ask him/her “why” he/she feels that word is related instead of saying “no”.
