Be Alert!

Objective:

This game demands one-pointed attention and alertness on the part of the player to keep in mind the correct ongoing sequence.

How to play

1. The Guru makes the children sit in a row.
2. She explains to the class as to how to go about it.
   Child 1 says -1; Child 2 says- 2; Child 3 says – Om; Child 4 says – 4; Child 5 says – 5; Child 6 says – Om and so on…
3. The game is continued in this manner where every 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th child has to remember to say ‘Om’, instead of the next number.
4. The one who is not alert enough during his turn/says incorrectly, is declared out.

Variations:

• 2, 4, 6, Jesus, 10, 12, 14, Allah, 18, 20, 22, Rama and so on…(multiples of 8)
• 5, Love, 15, Truth, 25, Peace and so on!!
