- Alertness
- Time Management
Materials Required & Preparatory Work:
Sets of cards, each set to consist of 6-7 cards. The words to be written on a set should be randomly selected, i.e without adhering to any particular sequential order.
Examples:
- Deities
- Nature
- Great men and women
- Saints
- Religions etc.,
How to play
- Children are divided into small groups, each group consisting of 3-4 children.
- The Guru hands over a set of cards to each group and explains the activity to them with the help of an example.
- Set 1 – NATURE (Clouds, rivers, sky, trees, moon, hills)
- From a group, a child shuffles the above 6 cards and then arranges them in a row in front of him.
- The remaining children in the group are given 2-3 seconds to memorize the sequence.
- Then the cards are removed and shuffled thoroughly once again, by the first player.
- Now one by one, the rest of the children in the group are given the set and those who are able to rearrange all the 6 cards correctly in the same original sequence, score points.
- The above 5 sets of cards prepared by the Guru may be rotated among the 5 groups, by turn.
- The Guru must also ensure that within a group each child gets an opportunity to be the lead player.
Variations:
- Deities

Variations:
Keeping the difficultly level of the children in mind, the number of cards in a set may be varied.
Tips to the Gurus:
While preparing each set of words, it must be remembered to select only random words which do not follow a particular sequence. (In other words, concepts like Purusharthas, which follow a sequence, may be omitted)
