Welcome to SSSVJ Balvikas Portal ! We are happy to share that the SSSVJ that was launched on 24th April, 2016, at Prashanti Nilayam, the Divine Abode of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, is in full swing ! Over 900 schools across India have been adopted and now come under the umbrella of SSSVJ.

We look at SSSVJ as a nation-building project because of its wider reach to the general public, who are not, otherwise, connected to Sri Sathya Sai Organisations. The syllabus for SSSVJ Balvikas has been designed keeping in mind the age group of the children, the areas where the schools are (rural/urban) located, and the values to be taught – based on the principles of Sarva Dharma Sadbhavana. To keep the syllabus age appropriate, it has been divided into 3 groups i.e. for children of 1-3 classes, 4-6 classes, and 7+ classes.

Effective teaching tools such as prayer, group singing, silent sitting, story telling, and group activities have been used to make learning a joyful experience! The topics can be modified according to the needs of the school by the visiting faculty.

Apart from the given lesson plans, this portal has audio for songs, printable colouring sheets, easy navigation and search facilities, for the benefit of Vidhya Jyothi students and teachers.
