Sound – Breathing

My dear children,

Close your eyes. Breathe in and breathe out. Watch your breath. When you are calm it comes out slowly and silently. When you are angry it palpitates and shows its restlessness. The breath takes different ways depending upon the situation and emotion.

Managing the breath means managing oneself properly. We live in this world till we breathe. We must thank God for giving us life through this breath. With breath and thoughts we are Shivam, the divine. Without the sound of breath we are ‘Shivam’ the corpse. We breathe in and out for 21,600 times a day.

“Human beings are many, Breath is one.”

Thank God for giving us this breath which we shall use to be obedient and loyal to Him in our thoughts, words and actions. Observe your breath and slowly come back to yourself.

Questions :
  1. How many times we breathe in and out in a day?
  2. How do you breathe when you run, jump, exercise and sit silently?
