Dil mey Ram- Haath mey kaam (other sevas)
Our balvikas students are expected to serve our SSSS Organisations in the capacity of sevadals after a few years. The best way to get them trained for this noble cause is by letting them assist the seva activities in the samitis, districts under the trained sevadals.
a) Narayan seva
- Arranging the tables, rinsing, wiping and drying the plates, serving water etc.
b) Cold drinks/ butter milk- seva
- During the scorching heat of summers, assisting the sevadals in serving cold drinks to the public on the streets
c) Medical Camps (Blood Camps, Eye Camps etc)
Preparation
- Cleaning
- Fixing posters
- Designating rooms for different purposes
- Seating Arrangement
Day of the Camp
- Registration
- Guiding patients / blood donors to the respective rooms with love and care
- serving water
Note -It should be kept in mind that the balvikas students should only carry out the instructions given to them by the sevadals and refrain from taking any independent decisions on their own.
d) Vibhooti Packets
“Paramam Pavitram Baba Vibhootim“, says the Vibhooti Mantra.
Students may assist the sevadals in preparing small Vibhooti packets, for the purpose of distributing after Sai bhajans as well as to new devotees.
e) Shrine decorations
Students would love to assist in decorating the shrine with rangolis and flowers. When balvikas students are given such opportunities to work under the sevadals, they will be getting hands- on- training as budding young sevadals. This gives them a sense of pride and achievement and they remain connected to the Sai Organization
