ART AND CRAFT – KRISHNA FLUTE WITH OLD NEWSPAPER
Materials Required:
- 10 Newspaper sheets
- Cloth/lining material/paper
- Golden thread
- Needle and Thread beeds
- Thermocol or paper beads
- Ruler, Pencil and glue
Method:/h5>
- Take 5 newspaper sheets and keep one top of another.
- Now fold in the middle and roll from the openside to the closed end.
- Apply glue and stick the roll.
- Paper flute is 36 cm long. Take a ruler and pencil. Make circles 8cm, 11cm, 14cm, 18cm.
- Carefully take a knife [under adults supervision] and gently cut the circles. No need to cut fully and do not cut backside.
- Take a pencil and dig into holes to expand.
- Take a nice cloth as long as the flute. Measure the circles at the same place as the flute. Cut holes and stick on the flute.
- For the tassles, take a small thermocol ball and needle a thread through it. Then stick a nice cloth on it. Then insert beads into the thread.
- Stick lining strips/lace one end and middle of the flute.
- Stick the tassel thread on the lining strip/lace and stick on the other end of the flute.
- Now take golden thread and circle the holes.
- Flute is ready.
