Car
My dear children !
Let us now experience the power of one of the sense organs and its function- Eyes and the sense of Sight
Look at the beautiful car standing majestic on the road, in front of a house. Close your eyes! Breathe in and breathe out.
The car is painted, polished, and washed. It comes towards you on the smooth road and gently stops before you. As the door opens slowly, you get in. The swanky car is now set for a long journey. It starts moving on the road. The interiors are elegant and plush. The seats are comfortable. There is soothing music and the interiors are cool. You sit back and look out through the window. You can see the trees on the roadside, vehicles overtaking the car, people walking on the footpath, and several vendors selling fruits in baskets. But, remember, the destination can be reached only if the car is filled with petrol/diesel. So you get into a petrol bunk to fill the fuel tank.
Swami says, like this long journey in a car, man must go on in the journey of life. How do you plan for our journey? One must fill the car, our body, with the fuel of Namasmarana and keep driving on the path of righteous living. We should not stop the journey with just food and fun but go beyond that.
The vehicle that we should not keep with us is Ahamkar, that is the ego, and the vehicle that we should cherish is Paropakar, that is serving others. With our God Baba’s name on our lips we should keep driving.
Why fear when Sai is there? Slowly open your eyes.
