Materials Required:
- A steel plate & a steel spoon
How to play:
- Students are asked to sit quietly for a minute in their respective places.
- The Guru stands with her back facing her class.
- She starts tapping the plate with the spoon and stops after say, 10 taps.
- Next, she turns around and asks the children as to how many times she had tapped. They may give different answers.
- Claps for those who say the right answer- 10
- The game continues in this manner with many rounds.
- Prizes are given to the ultimate winners who answer correctly in all the rounds.
Tips to gurus:
- Students giving wrong answers in 3 successive rounds may be eliminated.
- Winners must be applauded, impressing upon the entire class the importance of concentration for success in any field.
