INNER SIGNIFICANCE
The significance of Darshan:
All living beings have an aura (invisible radiance of different colours) around them. The extent and the colours of the aura depend on their inner nature. Thus aura cannot be seen with the naked eye. It can be photographed with a special camera.
Dr. Baranowski, an eminent scientist who studied the aura of Swami says, “The aura Swami projected was not that of a man. The white (energy) was more than twice the size of any man‟s: the blue (spirituality) was practically limitless; and then there was pink (intense love), gold and silver bands beyond these, far beyond this building, right upto the horizon. There is no scientific explanation for this. If ever I can use the phrase that I have seen “love walking on two feet, it is here”.
During darshan, the people are bathed in this Holy Aura and are purified.
Explanation :
Now the day has dawned. The Sun of Knowledge has awakened us from the deep sleep of ignorance. The Sadguru who is God in the form of Satya Sai Baba has entered our life. Our mind which was full of the evil and bad tendencies or vasanas such as Kama, Krodha, Lobh, Moha, Mada and Matsarya now replaces these by positive qualities of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace and Love. When day dawns the nocturnal birds and pests and insects run off, they cannot face the light of the day.
Our 10 sense organs are now guided more by the intelligence and not by the wayward mind.
We now start our journey from this point of the Annamaya Kosha inwards to the Atma.
Inner Significance :
Resplendent, Divine Truth of my Being, dawn on my consciousness and flood my Being, with your glorious effulgence so that my faculties may fulfil their Divine purpose and peace may radiate my Being.
Darshan of the Lord is an inner experience. But, a great Scientist Dr. Frank Baranowski has shown that we can see Swami’s aura full of beautiful colours. He used the Kirlian camera which shows white, pink, blue, gold and silver bands of energy spreading from Baba’s figure to the horizons. He stated that he had never before seen such an ‘aura’ in any person on Earth.
Inner Significance of Darshan of a Holy Person:
There is a saying ‘Darshanam Papa Nashakam’ i.e.Darshan of a holy person is going to destroy or remove our past sins. How? Tremendous light emanates from the body of a holy man as shown by the personal experience of Dr.Frank Baranowski. Sai darshan bathes the devotees in the rays of love, peace and joy. Our soul also emits a similar light.
