Objective:

This activity enhances auditory perception wherein children have to remember what is heard and recall it later. It enhances their listening skills too.

Preparatory work for the Guru:

None

How to play
  1. The Guru divides the class into small groups.
  2. She says aloud 10 words which are not related to each other. No word is to be repeated. (Example: Candle, lotus, parrot, Hanuman, Ganga, Quran, etc.,)
  3. She asks the children to listen very carefully and tells that they have to recall these words.
  4. She distributes a paper and a pencil to each group.
  5. After she completes, they have to list out all the 10 words on the sheet.
  6. The group that is able to mention all the 10 words correctly scores points.
