Earth (2)
Dear sweet children,
All the five elements are divine entities of God. Mother earth is one of the five elements and we worship her as ‘Bhu-devi’ or ‘Dhartimata’.
Our life flourishes only because of earth. It has five attributes of sound, touch, form, taste and smell.
Close your eyes and visualise mother earth who is bearing you and me. She serves the entire world without any expectation. Look at the tall mountains resting on her. Mighty and long rivers flowing on her: Small and big lakes and ponds filling on her. Tall towers, mansions and buildings standing on her.
Look at the agriculture side, growing all the food items for the entire world. Oh! Mother Earth, we dig you; plough you; but you give us food, wood, coal, minerals and so on. You are my mother and I am your son. Yes, we are all the children of mother earth. Now repeat these words.
“Mother earth, I Love you and I am your child”. Now rub your palms, massage your eyes, wipe your face and slowly open your eyes.
The path of Patience- Lessons from Earth, along with mountains and trees (Prithvi)
The Earth teaches the course of Dharma. We all walk and work on Earth, which tolerates our activities patiently. Mountains and trees stand steady, always giving to birds, animals and man. Thus we learn to be patient, tolerant, and forgiving as we walk or toil the earth
