Speak Truth! Feel Good!-mr
Speak truth! Feel good!
The teacher reads the exercise slowly, pausing at the dots…
If you wish you can play soft music in the background.
Firstly, sit in a comfortable position on your chairs, or cross legged on the floor.
Make sure your back is straight and head upright.
Take a deep breath and relax as you breathe out.
Close your eyes, or look down at the floor.
Take another deep breath… and another…
Now think of a time when you told a lie…
How did you feel? …
Think of a time when someone told a lie to you…
How did you feel? …
Think of a time when you told the truth …
How did you feel? …
Pat yourself on the back for telling the truth.
When you hear my small bell tinkle, slowly open your eyes, look at the person sitting next to you and smile.
Discussion:
- How does it feel to tell the truth?
- Have you ever told a lie in order to get your own way?
- If someone tells a lie to you, how do you feel? Do you feel angry?
