(Paper craft for Group I & II)

Get Ready:
Discuss with children about the festival of Christmas. Elaborate on how the celebrations brings the family together with love. Explain that giving and receiving gifts is an act of love. Baking a cake or cookies at home too is a way of expressing love for the family. Donating used toys, clothes that are in good condition to the underprivileged children is an act of love. Making crafts improves creativity in children!
Materials required:
- Colour papers (A4 size) – half a sheet per child.
- Glue, scissors.
Method:
1. Fold the paper as shown in the above video.
2. Cut the paper into half.
3. Divide the children into teams.
4. Distribute half A4 sheet per child and few template of their choice (star, heart, snowman or Christmas tree).
5. Follow the steps to make the streamers.
6. Fold the sheet as shown in the above video.
7. Draw the shape of your choice.
8. Cut out the shape.
9. The streamer is ready!
10. Leader of the group/guru to collect the streamers and stick the edges with glue.
11. Decorate the Balvikas centre or class room!

6. Gather the streamers, stick the edges and decorate the Balvikas Centre or Class room.
