Trinity
Hindus view Cosmic activity of the Supreme Being as comprised of three tasks -creation, preservation and dissolution. Lord Brahma represents the Creative Principle of the Supreme being; Lord Vishnu, the Divine aspect of the Supreme Being which sustains and nourishes the creation and Lord Shiva represents the eternal principle into which the entire creation finally merges - Srishti, Sthithi And Laya.- Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Criterion: In this round, each team is required to sing a bhajan in which names of the Trinity – Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva occur in the entire bhajan, though not necessarily in one line. Different equivalent names of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva appearing in the bhajan are also acceptable. |
