Firstly, sit in a comfortable position on your chairs, or cross legged on the floor. Make sure your back is straight and head upright. Take a deep breath and relax as you breathe out. Close your eyes, or if you are uncomfortable with that, look down at the floor. Take another deep breath… and another …
Imagine you are playing football with your friends…
It is very muddy and you get very muddy …
See your clothers are muddy too…
Now it is time to go home…..
Take off your muddy boots before you go in the house …
Now go to the bathroom and take off your dirty clothers and have a bath or shower…
You feel nice and clean and warm and comfortable…
Ask your mum where she would like you to put our dirty clothes…
Mum is pleased with you for being clean and tidy … (pause)
When you hear my small bell tinkle, slowly open your eyes, look at the person sitting next to you and smile.
