POSTERS FOR CHRISTMAS
(FOR BALVIKAS GROUP II AND III STUDENTS)

• Appreciating festival celebration.
• Learning to work in a group.
• Understanding the messages of Jesus Christ.
• Creativity.

Get Ready:

Choose sayings of Jesus Christ and have a discussion with the students. Few sayings are given here;

1. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
2. “And know that I am with you always, yes to the end of time”.
3. “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you”.
4. “A new command I give you; love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another”.

Materials required:

• Colourful Charts (one chart per team)
• Sketches, glitter pens, crayons, etc.
• Pencil.
• Eraser.

Method:

1. Divide the children into teams.
2. Distribute one chart per team.
3. Children to choose a saying of Jesus Christ.
4. Make the poster (sample poster given above)
5. Stick on the soft board/wall during the Christmas celebration.
