Coconut shell holder

Materials Required:
- Coconut shells
- Sand paper
- Acrylic paints and brushes
- Varnish
- Fevicol or fevistick
- News paper
- Rolling pin
Activity:
- Take a half shell of coconut and scrap the outer part neatly.
- Polish it with the sand paper.
- Varnish the inner and outer part of the shell.
- Paint the shell in golden colour or any designs can be painted inside and outside of the shell to make it more colourful.
- Using the knitting needle or any thin rolling pin, roll the paper tightly.
- Make a coil with a thin paper roll.
- This paper coil can be used as a stand for the holder.
- Two coconut shells can also be stuck together(as shown in the above pictures) , the bottom one inverted and can be used as a holder for keeping clips, pins etc.,
- These holders are attractive golu pieces or good gifts for Navaratri.
