THE INNER BEAUTIFUL DICTIONARY
PLAYERS :Group III Children or parents
VALUES INCULCATED
- To expand imagination.
- To inspire people using beautiful words.
- To enhance the power of comprehension.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
- A dictionary.
- 1 pen and 1 paper per participant.
- Timer
PREPARATORY EFFORT:
- Gurus should prepare list of positive words (always select value-based words, feelings, good qualities, etc.)
Example:

- Peace, Unity, Spirit, Self, Divinity, Service
The guru should give one example to make the participants understand the game:
- SOUL – ‘The part of the person which is not their body. It remains intact after the body dies’
GAME:
- The participants should sit in a circle.
- The guru explains that everyone has an inner beautiful dictionary inside and the game will remind one to put into practice.
- Then she/he whispers different “abstract value-based” words to each participant (1 word each).
- The participants are given 1 minute to describe the word similar to what is given in a dictionary, on their paper; none should speak out the word.
- When finished, the moderator asks the participants to read their descriptions (no one can announce the word) while the rest should guess the word.
- Children can move around with their hands stretched so that they don’t dash against anyone.
- The first one to find out the correct answers gets 1 point.
- The top scorer announced as winners.
- At the end of a round, the guru can read the description of the word from a dictionary.
