5 Ds
Scene 1: 
(Duty without love is deplorable)
Nursing Home - Ward A
(Sister on duty, patients)
Nurse (enters angrily) : Why have you all gathered here and chit-chatting?  You have to maintain silence and discipline. Come on, go back to your respective beds. 
(All  patients - rushing back)
Nurse  : Aunty, take these tablets and syrup.
Aunty  : Oh,  the  syrup is so sour.
Nurse  : It is after all a syrup, you cannot expect it to be sweet. Take it, come on.
Remember, you are not the only patient I have to attend to. I am so tired ! Now all of you lie down quitely, no chatting, no noise.
Aunty  : Sister, when will I be discharged?
Nurse  : God knows!
(leaves the room)
Scene 2 : 
(Duty with love is desirable)
(Sister Mary, Ravi, two  patients)
Mary (smiling) : Good morning everybody!
Ravi   : Good morning sister, nice to see you!
Mary   : It is time for your medicine Ravi, did you have your breakfast? Take this, Wait. I will get you water.
Ravi   : I’m tired of this medicine, sister.
Nurse  : But only with this ,will you recover soon.
Your parents are waiting for you to be back home. Don’t you want to play with your friends?
Ravi   : Yes, you are right. I wish to go back soon, sister. But- - -
Nurse  : but what?
Ravi   : but I will really miss you when I’m discharged.
Other patients : Not only Ravi; we too will miss you, sister. You are so patient and caring. We look forward to you every morning. God  bless you!!
Scene 3 : 
(Love without duty is divine)
(Sister Mary, sister Rosie, patients)
(Sister Marie is on duty and is to be relieved by Esther, the next sister on duty.)
(Sister Rosie arrives)
Rosie  : Mary, it is 6:05 already, our duty hours are over. I have handed over to the next sister on duty. Come on, come on, let’s go.
Mary   : But Rosie, Esther has not yet come to relieve me.
Rosie  : This is not the first time she is late, she is never on time. How long are you going to be waiting for her, just leave. After 6pm it is no longer your responsibility. 
Mary   : But how can I leave these patients unattended? Any emergency can arise at anytime. 
Rosie  : Even then, you will not be answerable, it is Esther who will be taken to task. Come on. Our staff bus may leave without us.
Mary   : Sorry Rosie, you please don’t wait for me and miss the bus. I will wait for Esther  and leave the ward only after handing over to her. bye!
(Rosy leaves)
