Welcome, the Elephant God

This Ganesh Chaturthi, let us welcome Lord Ganesha into our houses with a short English recitation.

During a Kodai visit in 1996, Sri. Vinay Vallabh, currently serving in the Prashanthi Nilayam Ashram, had read this poem aloud to Swami. Bhagwan was so happy with the recitation that every time a new visitor arrived, He would request Sri. Vinay to recite the poem. Everyone would have a hearty laugh and Swami would delightfully join them!

Come home bulky stomach Ganapati
You are the son of Shiva Parvati
Riding a rat Ho! Belting a serpent Ho!
