Rebus refers to challenging Word Picture puzzles which make use of numbers, colour, symbols, word-positioning, direction and placement to represent a word or a phrase.

How to play

1. The Guru distributes the sheet containing the Rebus puzzles to the class. She explains to them as to how to go about the activity.
2. By studying the size, colour, word-positioning, number, placement etc., in the puzzle, the students should try to solve the Rebus.
3. For Example:
   a) A MILL ONE ION – Ans: One in a million (as ONE is written inside it)
   b) STAND —– (under) I (Ans: I understand)
4. Based on the above guidelines given by the guru and the accompanying set of clues the children are instructed to solve the puzzles.
