KRISHNA’S MINI MANDAPAM

(BEST OUT OF WASTE)

Values inculcated:

1. Making art out of waste
2. Making effort to keep the environment clean

Material required:

1. Old empty matchbox
2. Waste thin sheet / card board
3. Waste chocolate rappers / colour papers
4. Glue
5. Scissors
6. Decorative materials (stickers, colour stones, glitter etc.)

Activity :

Step 1 : Take an empty matchbox.

Step 2 : Arrange it as shown in the picture.

Step 3 : Take the thin sheet / card board and cut it as a triangle piece.

Step 4 : Fold the bottom part as shown in picture.

Step 5 :Stick the bottom part of the triangle to the matchbox.

Step 6 : Using chocolate rappers / colour papers, cover the surface of the matchbox and the triangle.

Step 7 :Decorate the Mandapam (Stage)

Step 8 :Keep a small idol of Krishna inside the Mandapam.
