Pearls of Devotion
77. Om Shri Sai Geetaa-Bodhakaaya Namah
[Salutations to Lord Sai who is the teacher of the Geetaa.]

Baba has explained the principles of Bhagavad Gita to the devotees in a simple way for us to absorb, understand and follow it.
Lord Krishna told Arjuna in the Gita that He would reincarnate to protect the good and destroy the evil when righteousness is defeated. Baba, very delicately conveys us the meaning and importance of Bhagavad Gita. It is to educate and bring His devotees to the righteous path that He is engaged in ceaseless activities. He conveys that the happiness of every being is His true food.
He also dispels wrong notions of Gita. He educates us that the Gita tells us to perform activities while understanding that we are instruments in the hands of God. We should have NO desire for the fruits of our action. We have to surrender our ego to the Lord and perform our activities. This alone will result in dharma – the right conduct.
Baba’s words are a haven for the devotees who live in this materialistic world.
