Grouping the Given Items

Objective:

Fostering  the ability  of children to group the given items, as per  the requirement.

Values Inculcated:

Discrimination, Unity in  diversity, Seeing good, Orderliness

Guidance to gurus to create similar Activities:

The  given  example   relates to Religious  Symbols. Gurus may generate such Activities on different themes, say;

5 Elements, National Symbols (5), COD (money, energy, time, food, water), 5 Ds, 5 Human Values, Freedom fighters (5), Ramayana characters(5), Festivals (5- Ramzan, Navroj, Easter, Guruparv, Dussehra), Saints (5 – Statewise), Founders (5 – Jesus, Buddha & others).

Wherever possible pictorial  depiction is to be preferred, for added attraction to children as in the  given example  on Symbols.

Procedure:

Children are required to group the given 35 symbols into 7sets each set consisting of the symbols of 5 religions.
