Materials required:

2 bowls per child, one labelled ‘Clean the Planet’ and the other one ‘Bin’, white marbles and black marbles.

Preparatory work for the guru:

Label 2 bowls per child, one ‘Clean the Planet’ and the other one ‘Bin’.

Procedure:

  1. The guru should explain to the children the importance of purity and cleanness and how to focus on keeping their surroundings clean for the happiness of humanity.
  2. Then, the guru should mix the white and black marbles in equal proportions in the ‘Clean the Planet’ bowl in front of the children.
  3. Next the guru explains that it is now dirty, and so the black marbles should go to the bowl labelled as ‘Bin’ to get the purity of the white ones.
  4. Now, the guru should give each child a handful of the mix in the ‘Clean the planet’ bowl and a plain bowl named ‘Bin’.
  5. The child who finishes the task first, should shout ‘Planet Clean, Planet Clean’.
  6. The guru then checks if the child has properly separated the marbles. If not, the child continues to separate the marbles.

Rules/Awards:

The first child to separate the marbles properly is the winner.
