Take a half shell of coconut and scrap the outer part neatly.
Polish it with the sand paper.
Varnish the inner and outer part of the shell.
Paint the shell in golden colour or any designs can be painted inside and outside of the shell to make it more colourful.
Using the knitting needle or any thin rolling pin, roll the paper tightly.
Make a coil with a thin paper roll.
This paper coil can be used as a stand for the holder.
Two coconut shells can also be stuck together(as shown in the above pictures) , the bottom one inverted and can be used as a holder for keeping clips, pins etc.,
These holders are attractive golu pieces or good gifts for Navaratri.
