Value Guess
Objective:
This game requires the child to transfer a physical sensation to a mental picture and retain a short series of mental pictures in their head to correctly identify the word.

Preparatory work for the Guru:
None
How to play
- The Guru organises the class into pairs.
- She explains to them as to how to go about it, with a pair of students.
- One player writes a value word in capital letters (Example: PEACE) on the back of his partner, using his finger, without uttering the letters.
- His partner tries to identify the word by focusing on the letters being written on his back
- He may be given two more chances if unable to identify correctly at the first chance.
- Scores could be 5 points or 3 points or 1 point depending on the chances availed of.
- Partners switch roles and take turns, being the ‘writer’ and the ‘guesser’.
- To add more fun to the activity, children can be allowed to change their partners after two rounds.
Variations:
- For Group2 – Short Swami’s Quotes with 2 or 3 words (Example: Annam Brahma; Love All)
Tips to the Gurus:
- Guru should play the role of a facilitator by suggesting value words to the ‘writer’ if necessary!!
