42. Om Shri Sai Lokarakshaa-Paraayanaaya Namah
[Who is solely devoted in protecting the people.]
Baba is the protector of ALL beings in the universe.
Once, the subdivisional officer of Anantpur district returned from hunting a tigress. His jeep stopped. The driver went to seek the help of young Baba. He said that the viboothi of Baba was powerful and would help them. When Baba visited the place, He said that He knew about the hunting incident and it was He who had stopped the vehicle. On Baba’s advice, the officer promised to go back to the jungle to take care of the cubs of the killed tigress. The jeep instantly started. The officer went back and handed the cubs safely to a zoo. He also ensured that the cubs were taken care of. He then tanned the skin of the tigress and offered it to the lotus feet of Baba. This is the tiger skin that is under the foot stool of Baba’s seat in Prashanti Nilayam. Baba protects not just His devotees but ALL beings of the universe!
