Tomato Soup

Preparation Time: 10 minutes.
Cook Time: 30 mins
Yields: 2 bowls

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes ( riped tomatoes ) - 4 no's
  • Sugar -. 1 tsp
  • Fresh cream - 1 tsp
  • Pinch of pepper powder.
  • Pinch of turmeric powder.
  • Coriander leaves
  • Bread crumbs.
  • Salt as required.

Method

  1. Cut Tomatoes into pieces.
  2. Add little coriander leaves, salt, turmeric , tomato pieces to the pressure cooker.
  3. Pressure cook for 5 whistles. Let it cool.
  4. Simultaneously, For bread crumbs,fry bread pieces using ghee until it turns golden brown.
  5. Add tomato pieces into that jar ,grind them for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Bring the mixture to boil.
  7. Boil until you get a soup consistency.
  8. Now soup is ready, finally add fried bread crumbs, pepper and fresh cream and serve hot.

VARIATIONS

Strain the mixture after grinding by adding some water if required.
