PEPPERED LADY’S FINGER (OKRA)

Heat Oil in a wide pan.

Add Ladies Finger (okra) pieces and fry

Fry till cooked

Add cumin seeds. Aniseeds and curry leaves and fry for few seconds

Add Onion pieces,salt and fry

Add Garlic ginger paste and fry

Add turmeric Powder, chilli powder and coriander powder and fry

Add Tomato pieces and fry for 5 minutes

Add pepper powder, mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Pepper Lady’s Finger is ready. Can use with Rice or Roti.

  • Lady's Finger (Okra) - 500 gms ( cut to 1 inch pieces)
  • Cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
  • Aniseed (Sombhu or big cumin) - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion -2 big (cut to small pieces)
  • tomato-1 big
  • 1 tsp garlic ginger paste
  • few curry leaves and coriander leaves,
  • Pepper powder - 2 teaspoons
  • chilli powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1 teaspoon
