Poha/Aval upma is a healthy breakfast recipe ,which can be prepared in very few minutes time.It is very delicious and filling dish.Let is learn how to make poha/aval upma.
Wash poha/aval twice in running water and drain it in a colander. Sprinkle water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
In a pan, heat 3 tsp of oil and fry cashews till golden brown.
Add ginger,curry leaves,green chillies and fry for a minute.
Now add onions and fry till the raw smell goes off.
Then add tomato and chopped vegetables,cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Now add poha and salt ,mix well.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
