CARROT JUICE

Carrot Juice is a delicious and nutritious drink. Eating plain carrots is quite boring but making in the form of juice gives an interesting feel. It not only tastes good, it has so many health benefits and is highly cleansing.

 

Wash, peel and grate carrots. Grate coconut. Powder Jaggery.

In a blender add all the ingredients mentioned above, add water and blend it.

 Filter the juice take out the pulp and blend again (repeat the step twice).

 

Carrot Juice

Making Time: 15 mins
Yields: 4 glasses

Ingredients

  • Medium size carrots 4 (grated or cut into pieces)
  • Grated coconut - 1 tbl spoon
  • Jaggery - 1 tbl spoon
  • Cardamom - 1 piece

Method

  1. In a blender add all the ingredients mentioned above, add water and blend it.
  2. Filter the juice take out the pulp and blend again ( repeat the step twice).
  3. Carrot juice is ready . Serve it chill or as desired.
  4. VARIATIONS : Jaggery level can be adjusted as per our requirements.

  1. Carrots are rich in beta carotene, which improves the eye sight and also for good liver functioning.
  2. It also contains all vitamins like vitamin A,B,C,D,E and K and minerals like phosphorus,calcium and potassium.
  3. Carrot’s molecules are closest to human’s hemoglobin molecules, making it very beneficial in blood-building (cures animea).
  4. Best time to have carrot juice is in empty stomach (1 hour before meal or 2-3 hours after meal).
