KUNUKKU

Kunukku is a traditional and easy to  make snack recipe,and need no accompaniments.It is a best tea time evening snack. Let us see how to make this easy kunukku recipe.

Wash and soak raw rice and toor dhall together ,for 3 hours.

In a mixer, add red chillies,salt and soaked rice and dhall.

Grind it to a coarse paste.

To the paste ,add curry leaves,grated ginger and mix well.

Heat oil in a pan , take small portion of the batter and drop it into the oil.

Once it is cooked, drain it in the kitchen towel.

Repeat the same process for rest of the batter.

Serve hot along with tea or coffee.

Ingredients

  • Raw rice - 1cup
  • Toor dhall - 1/2 cup
  • Red chillies - 10 no's
  • Grated ginger - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for frying
