Mango Jam is sweet and delicious. It can be eaten with bread at breakfast, as a snack, a dessert or as a roll in paratha . Home made mango jam is fresh,delicious and free from preservatives
Ingredients- 2 mangoes, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Peel the mangoes
Remove all the mango pulp and discard the seeds
Add mango pieces to a mixie jar and grind.
Prepare smooth mango puree
To 1 cup mango puree, we need 1/2 cup sugar
Add mango puree to frying pan
Add 1/2 cup sugar to pan
After 5 minutes of cooking, Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice and cook in low flame for 15 minutes
Mango jam is ready. Store in dry container in a refrigerator
Relish the jam with bread or paratha roll.

Sairam, Could we use Nattu sakkarai instead of sugar. Now we are using only Nattu sakkarai for making tea/coffee. There is no taste difference. Kindly reply.
