RAGI LADDOO

Ragi Ladoo or Ragi Laddu (finger millet ball) is a tasty and nutritious sweet. It is very simple to make. These ladoos can be stored  in an airtight container for a week.

Ready with  popped ragi flour, jaggery, cashew nuts and ghee.

Mix the flour, jaggery and nuts in a big bowl.

Add ghee little by little to the portion of flour mix and make ladoos.

Prep Time: 10 mins
Making Time: 20 mins
Yields: 20 balls

Ingredients

  • Popped Ragi Flour - 1 cup
  • Jaggery powder - 2/3 cup
  • melted ghee - 2-3 table spoons

Method

  1. Ready with popped ragi flour, jaggery, cashew nuts and ghee.
  2. Mix the flour, jaggery and nuts in a big bowl.
  3. Add ghee little by little to the portion of flour mix and make ladoos.
  4. VARIATION : broken dry fried peanuts can be used instead of cashew nuts.
