Snake gourd stir fry (pudalangai porial in Tamil) is very easy and healthy dish that can be prepared in 15 minutes, if the vegetable is chopped and kept ready. It goes well with rice and rasam.
Ingredients required for Seasoning
Peel Snake gourd with peeler.
Remove the seeds.
Cut into thin pieces.
In a pan, heat oil ,splutter Mustard seeds, Channa dal, Urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves.
Add chopped Snake gourd, salt and sprinkle water, cook covered for 5 minutes.
Open the lid and saute for some more time till the vegetable gets cooked. Add sesame powder and mix well in the low flame.
Tasty and healthy Snake gourd stir fry is ready.
