Baba had once explained that the purpose of His birth is to restore the glory of vedas and vedic dharma for the well being of the world. A French scholar in 1960 was not very successful in understanding vedas, even after travelling the entire country. But, he met Baba and everything changed. Baba englightened the scholar and explained the exact meaning of vedhas. The scholar requested Baba to restore the glory of vedas. Baba assured him that that was the purpose of His birth. Baba, according to the wishes of His devotees, performed yagna at Prashanthi Nilayam. Vedic scholars from across the country attended the Vedha Purusha Gnana Yagnam. Baba declared that He is the presiding deity and the one to receive prayers. Baba stood as the symbol and expression of Happiness!!
