20. Om Shri Sai Jodi Aadipalli Somappaaya Namah

[Who has taken the form of the female and male aspect (Shiva Shakti), in primeval village.]

A fascinating incident happened when Baba revealed Himself as the divine union of Shva and Shakti – the male and female principles of God.

After attending Baba’s festivities in Prasanthi Nilayam, one of Baba’s ardent devotee was on his way home. His daughter suddenly fell sick and almost stopped breathing. At that moment, an old man came and gently took the baby in His arms. The girl recovered immediately. When asked for His name, the man introduced Himself as Jodi Aadipalli Somappa. Later Baba said it was Him indeed who blessed the girl back to life. He also explained that Jodi Aadipalli Somappa meant Shiva and Parvathi in their abode Kailasam.

Baba has showcased to the world that He represents the inseparability of male and female forms of God: Shiva and Shakti.
