Pearls of Devotion

74. Om Shri Sai Bhakti-Jnaana-Pradaaya Namah

[Salutations to Lord Sai who shows the path of Bhakti which leads to Jnaana (knowledge).]

Baba bestows and blesses His devotees with devotion. This bhakthi purifies the heart and elevates the being. Through this bhakthi alone, knowledge and wisdom can be attained. The sincere devotion also brings down the grace of God!

Once a devotee confided in Baba that he was not performing ‘Sandhya Vandanam’ (a religious practice) regularly. Baba urged him that it was never too late and could start observing it without any break. The man sincerely followed the command of Baba. He also performed Pooja to the Linga worshipped by his ancestors that was neglected by him earlier. Baba blessed the man’s devotion and manifested His form in the Linga.

It is indeed a guarantee that Baba will bestow devotion and wisdom to His devotees who worship Him with sincerity and reverence.
