Lord Dattatreya is an incarnation of the divine trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Gonthavali Brahma Chaithanya Maharaj was an ardent devotee of Dattatreya. He once told a disciple of his to visit Puttaparthi as Dattatreya had reincarnated there in human form. The disciple obliged and went ahead to meet Baba. He was blessed with an interview. To the utter joy of the devotee, Baba announced to him that He was the very seat of Dattatreya.
