78. Om Shri Sai Jnaana-Siddhidaaya Namah
[Salutations to Lord Sai who grants the achievement of wisdom.]
Baba has reincarnated in human form to remove ignorance and to enlighten our hearts with wisdom.
Young Baba in His school days, educated His friends to avoid food that promoted ‘thamo’ and ‘rajo’ gunas (destructive guna). He advocated against smoking and going to the cinemas. He advised them to adorn viboothi.
He taught them bhajans and composed poems on many social evils. He staged dramas which conveyed various morals for people of all ages. It is astounding to know how young Baba illuminated the hearts with wisdom in ways even common men could understand. No wonder Baba’s grandfather called Him “chinna guru” (the young master).
