SANTA CLAUS ART & CRAFT ACTIVITY
(FOR BALVIKAS GROUP II STUDENTS)

Get Ready:
Discuss with children about the festival of Christmas. Elaborate on how the celebrations brings the family together with love. Explain that giving and receiving gifts is an act of love. Baking a cake or cookies at home too is a way of expressing love for the family. Donating used toys, clothes that are in good condition to the underprivileged children is an act of love.
Material needed:
- Paper plate.
- Pencil.
- Paint brush.
- Red and black colour paint.
- Fevicol.
- White cotton.
Method:
1. Take a paper plate and pencil.
2. Draw a curved line to mark the cap of Santa.
3. Draw eyes and lips.
4. Above the curved line, brush the red Colour paint to form the cap of Santa.
5. Apply a line of glue along the curved line on the forehead.
6. Stick thin strip of cotton over the glue. It forms the border for the red cap of Santa.
7. In the same way, apply glue and stick cotton for beard and moustache of Santa.
8. Paint the eyes and mouth with black colour.
9. Paint red color for nose and lips.
10. Beautiful Santa ready. You can hang it with a string on the top or use as a face-mask with strings on either side of the beard.
