59. Om Shri Sai Avyakta-Roopine Namah
[Salutations to Lord Sai who is the form of the Unmanifested (the formless).]
One cannot understand or realize Baba by mere senses alone – spiritual wisdom is needed.
Baba made a miracle happen when He was fifteen years old. Indra, the Lord of the Devas threatened the village of Puttaparthi with dark clouds. The impending rain scared the villagers. Baba’s sister was worried that the bricks she had prepared might get washed by the rains. She rushed to the riverbed where the bricks lay. Baba also followed them. When the signs of heavy downpour started, Baba raised His hands with His palm upward and told, “Venkamma! The rain won’t come”. The clouds cleared immediately and the sky bore no signs of rain. Baba’s power simply cannot be grasped by our senses alone!
