MEANING
Abiding in the body of living beings as the digestive fire called Vaishvaanara, I digest the four varieties of food associated with the vital forces of Prana and Apaana (the inward and the outward breath). The four types of food are:
- that which we mash with our teeth and eat,
- that which is chewed
- that which is eaten with the help of the tongue – thick juicy things like mango juice etc and
- liquids.
