The third eye of Shiva represents gnana, the eye of cosmic knowledge. He can grant the knowledge of all the three paths to attain Him, that is, Karma, Bhakti and Gnana (work, worship and wisdom). The three eyes also connote that He is the Master of the Past, Present and the Future. In fact He is the One who controls time as well as transcends time. Our focus must be on God constantly like Nandi (the bull). One must have good, sacred vision, which is “Sudarshanamu”, good vision. To have the sanctified and good vision one must contemplate on God, chant His name and concentrate on Him. – BABA
Let us contemplate and pray to Lord Shiva through these bhajans.
