MEANING

This is a prayer to Lord Shiva who has the river Ganges on His head, Who has Vibhuti all over His body, Who swallowed the deadly poison and Who is also our Lord Sai.

Gangadhara Ganga + dhara. River Ganga + to hold. Lord Shiva bears this name as the Ganga flows from His head
Hara Another name of Lord Shiva. Means ‘to destroy’. He has this name because He is considered responsible for the final dissolution of the cosmos
Shambho One who spreads auspiciousness and Joy
Vibhuti Sacred ash

Halahala dhara Halahala – The poison that emanated during the churning of the ocean of milk; dhara – to hold. Lord Shiva has the name ‘ Halahala dhara’ because He holds in His neck this poison
